As we enter 2013, our growth is steady in Special Interest Group (SIG) 17, Global Issues in Communication Sciences and Related Disorders. We are beginning 2013 with 315 SIG members and I want to thank you for selecting us as your SIG of choice. We value your affiliation and want to show you, through our benefits and support, that we will meet your needs for international issues related to communication and other related disorders. One thing I have noticed, since the inception of this SIG, is the passion of its members. Almost every member I meet has a phenomenal personal story that has led them to join this SIG. You have supported the SIG through these early years, knowing the importance and value of continuing this voice for worldwide issues in communication sciences and related disorders.
